As you (hopefully!) know, at Start-Up Chile we support technology-based ventures to boost their businesses. We finance startups in all stages of development, from an idea in the validation process to a consolidated enterprise looking to reach new markets.

We have three different acceleration programs for the different stages of development:

Build: Offers co-financing of $10 million (approximately US$ 12,000) to support the pre-acceleration of entrepreneurs in early stages. This could mean they have innovative concepts in the validation process, or they already have functional prototypes.

Among the winners, at least 50% of the selected projects must be led by women.

Ignite: Subsidy of $25 million (approximately US$ 31,000) for those startups with a minimum viable product (MVP), with fewer than three years of development. Companies led by women can claim co-financing of 90% of the total cost of the project.

Growth: Line of financing that seeks to support technological entrepreneurs in the expansion stage of their businesses. The subsidy is $75 million (approximately US$ 93,000). In this, as in the other programs, startups led by women have greater co-financing than those led by men.

KEY DATES

Webinars: We will have informative webinars on the application process during March. As we want to reach founders from all over the world, these events will be in English and Spanish. You can revise them here:

Application process: March 21st to April 17th (WE’VE EXTENDED THE DEADLINE)

Evaluation processes: April – June.

Results: end of June.

Start of the program: August (to be confirmed).

The startups that are selected in this application process will begin their acceleration in August 2023 (dates to be confirmed). In addition to receiving public funds to develop their businesses, they will have access to other benefits, such as: a CoWork space where they can work and share with other entrepreneurs; free consulting opportunities with different experts from the Start-Up Chile mentor network; connections with large companies for commercial validation, and/or relationships with Corporate Venturing actors; among various other perks.
